REA: JoJo Romero, GM1 Franklyn Kilome, GM2 TBD, Elniery Garcia, TBD
CLR: Sixto Sanchez, Bailey Falter, Adonis Medina
LWD: Kyle Young, Spencer Howard, GM1 Damon Jones, GM2 TBD, David Parkinson

Rochester 2, Lehigh Valley 0

Ben Lively - 6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 6 GB, 4 FB
Mitch Walding - 1 for 4, BB, 2 K
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 3, BB, 2 K

A big ol’ snooze-fest out in Allentown as the IronPigs are 5-hit in a shutout. Ben Lively combined with Mark Leiter Jr. and Zac Curtis for 8 hits allowed, 2 walks and 10 strikeouts. Dylan Cozens has struck out 19 times in his last 35 at-bats. Amazing.

Reading 4, New Hampshire 3

Jacob Waguespack - 4 IP, 3 H, 0 R, BB, 5 K, 6 GB, 1 FB
Malquin Canelo - 1 for 4, R (throwing error)
Zach Coppola - 0 for 2, BB, CS
Damek Tomscha - 1 for 4, RBI, 2 K
Zach Green - 1 for 3, R, 2B, BB, K
Cornelius Randolph - 1 for 4, R, K (outfield assist, 3B)
Jiandido Tromp - 1 for 2, R, RBI, BB, K, HBP
Austin Bossart - 2 for 3, 2 RBI

Reading actually sneaks out a win with New Hampshire despite both Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. going deep in the game. Things got dicey in the top of the 5th when the IronPigs were already up 3-0. Tyler Viza was the culprit as he gave up both aforementioned homers to tie the game. Thankfully in the bottom of the 5th, Damek Tomscha delivered a 2-out RBI single to put Reading back up for good en route to the victory.

Palm Beach 7, Clearwater 6

Mauricio Llovera - 3.2 IP, 5 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, HR, 3 GB, 2 FB
Arquimedes Gamboa - 1 for 5, R, 2K (fielding error)
Adam Haseley - 2 for 4, R, 2B, RBI, BB, K (fielding error)
Austin Listi - 1 for 4, R, RBI, 2 K
Darick Hall - 1 for 4, 2 RBI, BB, K
Mickey Moniak - 1 for 5, RBI, K
Edgar Cabral - 0 for 2, RBI, 2 BB (passed ball)
Jose Pujols - 0 for 4, 2 K
Jose Gomez - 2 for 4, 2 R, K
Luke Williams - 2 for 4, R, K

There was no love for Mauricio in this outing, who picks up his 4th loss of the season. After a great start to the season, he has now been lit up in his last 3 starts (15 IP, 17 H, 13 ER). Adam Haseley is en fuego as of late, batting .359 in his last 10 games. Things are looking up for the 2017 1st round pick. The Threshers actually trailed in this one 7-4 in the top of the 9th before coming up short in a late comeback.

Lakewood 4, Hagerstown 3 (GM1 of DH, 7 innings)
Lakewood 5, Hagerstown 3 (GM2 of DH, 7 innings, makeup of 5/22 ppd)

Will Stewart - 6.2 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, HR, 11 GB, 2 FB
Luis Carrasco - 3 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, 2 K, 5 GB, 0 FB
Jake Scheiner - 2 for 6, 2 R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI, BB, K
Daniel Brito - 1 for 4, RBI, K
Jhailyn Ortiz - 4 for 7, R, 2B, K
Quincy Nieporte - 1 for 5, R, RBI, BB
Colby Fitch - 3 for 6, RBI
Nick Maton - 2 for 6, R, RBI, 2 K (fielding error)
Gregori Rivero - 0 for 3, K
Yahir Gurrola - 1 for 6, R, 3 K
Kevin Markham - 3 for 3, R
Dalton Guthrie - 0 for 4, R, K
Rodolfo Duran - 1 for 3, 2B, RBI, K
Josh Stephen - 2 for 3, R, K

Huge doubleheader win for Lakewood who are trying to keep pace in the Northern Division standings. They remain 4 games back of first place with 3 teams ahead of them. A big day for top prospect Jhailyn Ortiz who is 5 for 15 in his first 4 games back from the DL. As he gains strength, we should hopefully see the power come back as well. Jake Scheiner hits his 7th HR of the season in GM1 and was his 3rd homer in 6 games.
