The Phillies bumbled through their last four series, and one 10-0 win doesn’t change that. But last night, they put the Giants’ hot streak on hold as Odubel Herrera homered twice, Cesar Hernandez skied a dinger into the second deck, Carlos Santana tried to bust his own slump with a bomb, Jesmuel Valentin logged his first big league hit, Zach Eflin gave the Phillies 6.2 strong innings, and Seranthony Dominguez made his 1-2-3 major league debut out of the bullpen.
And after all that, Aaron Nola is pitching.
