Game Thread 6/1: Phillies at Giants

Oh good, the Giants.

Goody goody gumdrops, it’s time for the Phillies to face the Giants. At least this time, the Phillies won’t have to do it again for another year. Not too long ago, the Phillies swept the Giants in four games. This is the return trip.

There are worse parks to play in than AT&T Park. Let’s see if the Phillies can rediscover the magic from that sweep earlier this season.

Hey, Dylan Cozens is making his first major league start! Congratulations to him! Good luck, buddy.

Just remember: thanks to that four-game sweep, the Phillies can’t lose the season series. Thank goodness.
