Is it safe to come out?
Or will I be greeted by more bad baseball?
I guess there’s no way to tell. Might as well plunge forward.

I know it never works out well when I ask things of the Phillies. The last time I did, they lost to the Brewers by nine runs after losing by eight runs the night before. But all I want, the only thing I want, is for this game to be watchable. Win, lose, whatever, I just don’t want to look at the score in the third or second or first inning and know that I’m probably going to spend he rest of the game watching the Phillies lose. If they give up two runs, or four runs, or even five runs, they could come back from that. I’ve seen the Phillies score that many runs. But once it gets to seven runs and beyond, you know they’re going to have to wail on some pitching to make up that deficit.
I’m going to be optimistic and say I’m looking forward to watching “good” or at least “competitive” baseball tonight. Please?
