Game Thread 7/12: Phillies at Orioles

Goodbye, off day. Hello, make-up game.

If you’re wondering why there’s a game thread today, it’s because there’s a game today. This was originally an off day, but the rain on May 15, AKA Game 1 of the Phillies’ two-game series in Baltimore, forced the game to be postponed until this very day.

Let’s take a gander at the lineup for this 6pm (wait, 6pm? Really?) start.

Ahh, Nick Pivetta. Pivetta needs a good start (like, really really needs a good start), and today’s his last chance to get one before the All-Star break. So I have just three words for him: don’t blow it.

Kidding! We love you no matter what, Nick! (But seriously, don’t blow it.)
