Phillies fans, our time has come. Baseball Prospectus, a marvelous website where several of us have written (Justin Klugh writes for Short Relief, Victor Filoromo is on their prospect staff, and I wrote the Phillies essay for this year’s BP Annual), has chosen Citizens Bank Park to host one of their excellent ballpark events. The magical day will be August 18.

At this session will be actual Phillies employees who will answer your questions. Assistant general manager Ned Rice, director of research & development Andy Galdi, and research & development analysts Corinne Landrey and Lewie Pollis will be there. Corinne and Lewie are friends of TGP, and Corinne used to run the show at Crashburn Alley.

BP is also bringing the big guns for this session. Prospect gurus Jeff Paternostro and Jarrett Seidler will be there, as well as BP writers Mike Gianella and Rob Mains. And maybe even more!

In addition to Phillies employees and BP luminaries, many of your faithful TGP writers will also be in attendance. Come to meet us, talk to us, and watch baseball with us. Buy us beer! (Just kidding.) (Or am I?)

Tickets are $46, and they include the ballpark session, a ticket to that day’s 4pm game against the Mets, and a $15 credit to a BP Premium or Super Premium subscription. You can buy them by clicking right here.

It’s going to be a fantastic time. We can’t wait to see you there!
