The Good Phight joins the SB Nation podcast family

IT’S. ALL. HAPPENING.

We here at The Good Phight are proud to announce that we are now part of an exciting venture with SB Nation in which they have agreed to streamline all three TGP podcasts, “Hittin’ Season,” “Continued Success,” and “The Dirty Inning,” in one podcast feed. Our outstanding Philly partners, Bleeding Green Nation, Broad Street Hockey and Liberty Ballers are also involved in this new partnership, and it is fantastic.

Check out the announcement from SB Nation this morning on this exciting new venture, but here’s what you need to know.

First, we encourage all of you to subscribe to the NEW Good Phight podcast feed. If you are an Apple person, hit iTunes. If you’re an Android user, you can use Stitcher, Google Podcasts, or Spotify. SoundCloud users are encouraged to navigate away from that app and use Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or some other portal through which to subscribe to the new Good Phight podcast feed, but if you have been a subscriber to “Hittin’ Season” in the past, nothing will change for you. You will continue to receive “Hittin’ Season,” same as always, only your feed on your phone will now say “The Good Phight” instead of “Hittin’ Season.”

Folks, this is the culmination of some very hard work by all of us, and the culmination of the incredible support we have received from all of you. If you weren’t listening to these podcasts, none of this would have happened. None of this would have been possible without you, and so we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

What this means is more free content for all of you. We will be shuttering the Patreon site at the end of the month, so at the beginning of September, the Sunday night edition of Hittin’ Season, as well Continued Success, will be free for everybody. You’ll also get The Dirty Inning through the same podcast feed that you receive HS and CS.

We will, of course, continue to post new episodes to this website as well. On Episode 204 of “Hittin’ Season,” I broke down the Phils vs. Red Sox series, which you can listen to here.

And in the latest edition of Continued Success (which we’re calling Episode 1), Justin Klugh and Liz Roscher talk about the assault of Ronald Acuna just for being really good, and a 2008 Phillies west coast trip that did NOT go well.
