Game Thread 8/25: Phillies at Blue Jays

I’m starting to think these nickname jerseys are bad luck for the Phillies. They keep losing when they wear them! If they lose again to the Blue Jays, I think someone should pull a Chris Sale and slice those babies to ribbons. Then they’ll HAVE to wear different jerseys on Sunday. I don’t care if it’s fun, they keep losing and I don’t like it!!

Okay, teenage temper tantrum over. Lineup time!

Today we’ve got Rhys Hoskins DHing and Roman Quinn in his place in left field. Maikel Franco is back at third, and Asdrubal Cabrera is again at shortstop. Hopefully today they can squeeze a few more runs out of the constipated colon of their offense and win a damn game. That’s not too much to ask, right?
