Drew Anderson got his 8th win in another solid effort. That is now 4 straight starts of which he has given up 3 runs or less with at least 5 IP. The offense did well for themselves despite collecting 16 strikeouts in the game. Ryan Goins hit his 2nd HR of the season, a 2-run blast to put the IronPigs on the board in the 6th inning. LHV was able to put things away with a 4-run 7th inning to give them a 6-2 lead.

Felix Paulino pitches well enough in his 3rd AA start, but it’s the offense that takes the show last night. Austin Listi hit a grandslam in the 3rd inning, his 7th HR with Reading (and 16th overall on the season). Deivi Grullon added a solo shot himself, his 16th of the season. Jan Hernandez was hit by a pitch in the 3rd inning and had to leave the game.

The walks were also a problem in Lakewood (34 in 101.2 IP). The Threshers offense only got on the board via a 2-out 2-run double from Jose Pujols. J.P. Crawford was playing third base last night, but was once again hitless. In his 3 rehab games between GCL/Clearwater he is 0 for 6 with 5 walks and 3 strikeouts.
