FanPost Friday: Free Write Day!

You write something interesting; we publish it!

Free writing is a wonderful thing. You aren’t held in by restraints that was given to you by an artificial topic generated in the deep recesses of someone’s mind. Instead, your creative juices flow, like hatred through a Sith Lord. This year’s version of the Phillies affords lots of opportunities for free writing. You see the many things we come up with here at the site. You also see the many variations of ideas coming from those who dare take up their writing ideas in the FanPosts section. We’ve got a running record of base running gaffes, an attempt at a Chaucer-like verse using the Phillies and researched topics that enlighten us about corners we haven’t really looked at in depth.

So this week, my challenge to you: come up with your own topic to write about! Whether it be something you’ve been researching on you’re own, an opinion you wish to elaborate on, or any other topic. We’re always on the lookout for something to post on the main page and now is your chance. With people off this weekend and scanning our pages a little more thanks to the holiday, your writing has a better chance at greater exposure if it makes it up to the main site. Remember the rules for FanPosting and what we are looking for in a well-written piece.

Happy Labor Day and happy writing!
