If you’d like to see how it all went down, check out the gamelog. In the Threshers second game of the day they were no-hit by Tampa...but still won the game. I’d be curious how often that has even happened at any level in baseball. They scored the winning run from two fielder’s choices and an error. Clearwater won the 1st game in extra-innings as well as J.P. Crawford came around to score via a ground-out, then a sac-fly from Luke Williams. In fun Phillies org stat notes, that was Mickey Moniak’s 22nd double of the season. Despite the disappointing season Moniak has had, that ranks him 6th only behind Zach Green, Nick Maton, Jake Scheiner, Joey Meneses and Austin Listi.

Auburn 11, Williamsport 6

Ethan Lindow - 5 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 4 GB, 2 FB
Ben Aklinski - 0 for 5
Rafael Marchan - 1 for 4, R, 2B, BB, K
Ben Pelletier - 3 for 5, 3 R, HR, 2 RBI
Edwin Rodriguez - 2 for 5, RBI, K (missed catch and fielding errors)
Jake Holmes - 2 for 4, R, K
Danny Mayer - 0 for 4, K
Brayan Gonzalez - 2 for 4, 2B, 3 RBI, K (fielding error)
Seth Lancaster - 1 for 4, 2B, K (fielding error)
Jesus Henriquez - 1 for 4, R

Things got away from Williamsport at the end of the game as Auburn put up 6 runs combined in the 7th and 8th innings. Ben Pelletier hit his 5th HR of the season in the top of the 9th, but the come-back was not meant to be. As a 19 year old, Pelletier is slashing .284/.344/.475 in 162 at-bats. Rafael Marchan continues to be a monster at the plate and is hitting .324 in his last 10 games. Ethan Lindow took his second loss of the season last night and saw his ERA rise to 3.00.

GCL Yankees East 7, GCL Phillies West 3

Ben Brown - 3.2 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 4 GB, 2 FB
Yerwin Trejo - 2 for 4, R
Luis Garcia - 2 for 4, R
Abraham Guitierrez - 1 for 3, BB
D.J. Stewart - 1 for 4, R, RBI, K (2 throwing errors)
Logan O’Hoppe - 1 for 4, 2B, 3 K
Trent Bowles - 0 for 4, RBI, K
Rixon Taylor-Wingrove - 0 for 3, BB, K
Jesus Azuaje - 0 for 4
Luis Rojas - 0 for 4

Oddly enough we check back in on Ben Brown two starts removed from his 6 inning 16 strikeout performance to his worst start of the season in which he allows a season-high in hits, runs and his lowest strikeout total. 17 year old shortstop Luis Garcia remains scorching hot at the plate, slashing .382/.429/.518 (110 AB) with 7 SB in his state-side debut.
