Well, here we are again.
The Phillies started their nine-game homestand 0-3, thanks to three losses to the Nationals, including two in one day. But you can remember that all too easily. Focus on what’s ahead of us, like Zach Eflin facing the Marlins, the one NL East team he seems able to shut down, with no walks against them in 14 IP this season. Neat!
On top of that, you know. Hope Rhys Hoskins catches fire. In 53 AB vs. Miami this season, he’s hitting .208. Less neat. Odubel Herrera is faring slightly better, hitting .291 against the Fish in 55 AB, but his OPS against them is only .684.
Let’s just hope somebody hits the ball, and then somebody else hits again, after them, to knock them in and score. Maybe J.P. Crawford will do something cool again! If he plays. Which, he got the start last time, so that probably means they put him back in the subbasement. Ah well.
