The Phillies needed to win a lot of these last seven games against the Braves to stay in the playoff picture. So far, they’re 0-for-1, and it wasn’t a particularly inspiring looking 0, either. Mistakes were made. Energy was low. And the bullpen let a lead explode, the likes of which no amount of Phillies flailing in the top of the ninth could equalize.
But they play again tonight, and boy howdy, is morale low! It’s Nick Pivetta vs. Julio Teheran, with the Phillies 6.5 games out of first place and the Braves four games from clinching. What wacky lineup has Gabe Kapler chosen this time? Let’s find out!
Our lineup is set for game two of this four-game series in Atlanta. #BeBold
