Game Thread 9/3: Phillies at Marlins

Oh Phillies. Oh Phillies Phillies Phillies. Phillies.

I don’t know what to do with our Phillies. Except love them and also yell at them. Today I’m on the road, headed home from a weekend visiting my parents, and whenever I listen to Phillies games in the car, I always yell at it. Not that it’s much different from what I do at home, but there’s a lot of “SHUT UP, LARRY” and “NO WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT” while I try not to swerve off the road.

Maybe today they’ll surprise me and everyone. They’re facing the Marlins, and even though it feels like the Phillies struggle against both bad teams and good teams, maybe they’ll find a groove.
