Game Thread 9/4: Phillies at Marlins

HEY PHILLIES, YOU KNOW YOU’RE FACING THE MARLINS, RIGHT? THEN ACT LIKE IT AND PUT UP A TEN SPOT IN THE FIRST INNING.

Yeah, I know that probably won’t work, but it’s worth trying, right?

Going through my issues with this lineup isn’t going to help anything. You’ve heard it before. Why is X player at this position instead of Y player? And then repeat that another four or five times. This is just what it is. Maybe in the offseason the Phillies will reevaluate their approach, but are you optimistic about that? I’m not. I will not be satisfied until I see catcher Odubel Herrera and third baseman Rhys Hoskins! If playing out of position is going to be what the Phillies do, why not go all the way with it?
