The Phillies, per Matt Breen of the Philadelphia Inquirer, will host the 2026 All-Star game in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday.
The Phillies will host the 2026 All Star Game at Citizens Bank Park. MLB will hold a press conference next Tuesday at City Hall to announce it.

This will be the 5th time in the club’s history that they have hosted the popular event — Philadelphia had previously been the home of All-Star Weekend in 1996, 1976, 1952, and 1943.
Phillie fans have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and it seems that they’ll have to wait a little bit longer. However, when the time comes, Citizens Bank Park will be packed to the brim with onlooking baseball fans.
It certainly will be a treat to see the game take place in such a historic city, especially on the celebration of a prominent anniversary.
The news is expected to be officially announced early next week, so keep your eyes peeled!
We have a major announcement to make on Tuesday, April 16 at 2 p.m.
