Jhailyn Ortiz added a solo shot in the 2nd inning, his 5th of the season. The Threshers came back from down 3-0 to win the second game. Alec Bohm’s line at Clearwater is up to .304/.341/.519 with three homers. Jhailyn Ortiz is riding a four-game hitting streak in which he is 7 for 15 with two homers.

Yet another loss for the BlueClaws who can’t seem to score any runs. They had no extra-base hits in the game and were 0 for 4 with RISP. Tyler McKay took his third loss of the season. Three shutout innings from New Zealander Kyle Glogoski puts him at: 11.1 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 5 BB, 17 K for the season. Luis Garcia seems to be slowly finding himself at the plate as he is batting .294 over his last 10 games. Abraham Gutierrez left the game early in the 2nd inning and was replaced by Jack Conley. Lakewood is already without Rafael Marchan behind the plate.
