Lehigh Valley 6, Syracuse 5

Alexis Rivero — 3 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 3 K
Luke Leftwich — 2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 1 BB, 3 K
Kyle Dohy — 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K
Deivy Grullon — 3-for-4, 2B, BB, SO
Nick Williams — 2-for-5, RBI, SO
Malquin Canelo — 2-for-5, 3B, 2 R, 1 RBI, BB, SO

Notes:

  • A bullpen controlled game from the Iron Pigs yields positive results.
  • Luke Leftwich looked, frankly, terrible in his two-frame appearance. Nothing was working.
  • Kyle Dohy continues on the road to improvement. Still struggling with control.
  • Nick Williams, while disappointed, hits well in premiere Triple-A appearance.
  • Deivy Grullon is... pretty good.

Reading 6, Richmond 1

Bailey Falter — 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 8 K
Jeff Singer — 2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 3 K
Mickey Moniak — 2-for-4, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI, BB
Adam Haseley — 1-for-4, SO
Cornelius Randolph — 1-for-4

Notes:

  • Bailey Falter continues to dazzle in Reading, showcases plus strikeout stuff.
  • Mickey Moniak continues to swing a hot bat (.261 BA on season,) draws another walk.
  • Adam Haseley keeps with the hits, up to a .259 average on the season after early struggles.
  • Cornelius Randolph quietly sneaking into the spotlight, continues to improve.

Clearwater 4, Jupiter 1

Julian Garcia — 7 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 5 K
Tyler Carr — 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K
Daniel Brito — 2-for-3, 2B, R, 2 RBI, BB
Rodolfo Duran — 2-for-4, 2B, R
Matt Vierling — 2-for-5, RBI, SO, SB
Madison Stokes — 2-for-5, 2B
Alec Bohm — 1-for-5, 2B, R, RBI

Notes:

  • Julian Garcia continues to cement spot in Clearwater rotation, tosses 7 solid frames.
  • Daniel Brito stays hot, shows decent contact ability/range.
  • Matt Vierling continues to show shocking speed, steals 11th bag on the season.
  • Madison Stokes once again proving he’s not a name to be overlooked.
  • Alec Bohm does Alec Bohm things.

Lakewood 0, Delmarva 14

Kevin Gowdy — 0 IP, 0 H, 4 R, 6 BB, 0 K
Luis Garcia — 1-for-4, SO
Jonathan Guzman — 1-for-4, 2 SO

Notes:

  • This one was flat out ugly.
  • Gowdy faces 6 batters, walks all 6, gets the early hook.
  • Luis Garcia somewhat beginning to improve upon ever so impressive contact tool.
  • Bullpen combination of Bennett, McArthur, and Marcelino allow 10 unanswered runs.
