Let’s just not talk about last night, alright?
Here’s hoping today goes much better! The Phillies have Zach Eflin on the bump to start — he’ll look to top Washington’s number five in Anibal Sanchez.
Sanchez is off to a rocky start this year after turning in a career year in 2018. He sports a 5.91 ERA over 32 frames with 27 K’s and a worrisome 1.72 WHIP. He’ll face a Realmuto-less Phillies lineup, in which Odubel Herrera makes his first start since coming off the Injured List:

Zach Eflin, who has been excellent thus far, will face another Nationals lineup that lacks the presence of a multitude of their stars, including Juan Soto, Anthony Rendon, Trea Turner, and others.
Remember when Kurt Suzuki hit a pinch-hit, game-tying 3R HR last night?
