Today’s Probables:

LHV: Drew Anderson
REA: Mauricio Llovera
CLR: Julian Garcia
LWD: Jhordany Mezquita

Lehigh Valley 5, Gwinnett 1 (June 11)

Enyel De Los Santos - 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, BB, 6 K, 5 GB, 3 FB
Jan Hernandez - 0 for 4, R, 2 K
Deivy Grullon - 0 for 3, R, BB
Mitch Walding - 3 for 4, 2 R, HR, 3 RBI
Malquin Canelo - 0 for 3, K

Enyel De Los Santos put on an impressive showcase in hopes of getting to be named the Phillies starter on Sunday (after Jerad Eickhoff’s demotion to the bullpen). EDLS was on a 80 pitch count, but wound up at 71 pitches (45 strikes) after 5 innings. Mitch Walding hit his 9th HR of the season and provided a bulk of the offense in this one. Deivy Grullon is in the midst of a unusual cold-spell, batting .158 in his last 38 at-bats.

Erie 5, Reading 3 (June 11, GM1 of DH, 7 innings)
Reading 5, Erie 4 (June 11, GM2 of DH, makeup of suspended 5/30 game)

Bailey Falter - 5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, WP, 5 GB, 5 FB
Mauricio Llovera - 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, BB
Jose Tavares - 4.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, 3 K, HBP, 5 GB, 2 FB
Arquimedes Gamboa - 1 for 9, R, RBI, 2 K, SB
Mickey Moniak - 1 for 3, R, K
Darick Hall - 2 for 4, R, RBI, 3 BB, HBP
Austin Listi - 4 for 7, HR, 3 RBI, BB, K
Cornelius Randolph - 1 for 8, R, 4 K (outfield assist, 2B)
Josh Stephen - 3 for 7, 2 2B, BB, 2 K, CS
Luke Williams - 2 for 6, R, 2 BB, 3 K, CS (one throwing and two fielding errors)
Grenny Cumana - 2 for 8, R, RBI, 2 K

Reading splits the unique double-header. Mauricio Llovera obviously began the game initially on 5/30, but his start didn’t line up to continue this one. Jose Tavares did well in “relief”. Austin Listi hit a three-run HR in his first game, his 6th HR of the season. Josh Stephen is quietly having a very nice season as a 21 year old in AA. He is slashing .277/.344/.445 with 4 HR and 4 SB.

Clearwater 7, St. Lucie 3 (June 10)
St. Lucie 5, Clearwater 0 (June 11)

Edubray Ramos - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 3 K
Anthony Requena - 4.1 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 4 K, HR, 3 GB, 2 FB
Andrew Brown - 5 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, K, HR, HBP, 8 GB, 3 FB
Simon Muzziotti - 0 for 8, RBI
Roman Quinn - 4 for 8, R, 2B, 2 K, SB
Alec Bohm - 2 for 4, R, 2B, 3B, RBI, 4 BB, K
Jhailyn Ortiz - 1 for 8, 2B, RBI, 2 K (outfield assist, home)
Madison Stokes - 0 for 4, K
Nick Maton - 1 for 7, R, BB, 2 K, SB
Matt Vierling - 2 for 8, R, 2B, K (outfield assist, 2B)
Rodolfo Duran - 3 for 7, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 K
Daniel Brito - 2 for 7, R, K

Rehab starts for Edubray Ramos and Roman Quinn, hopefully both are back in action with the Phillies soon as they are desperate for good arms and a deeper bench. You don’t want Quinn in rehab too long because you want at-bats out of him before he inevitably get hurts again. Alec Bohm continues to get fans all hot and bothered with lines like above. Since being promoted to Clearwater he is slashing .308/.371/.476 with 3 HR. I would not be surprised if he is in Reading by July.

Hagerstown 4, Lakewood 3 (June 11, GM1 of DH, 7 innings)
Hagerstown 6, Lakewood 5 (June 11, GM2 of DH, 7 innings, makeup of 6/10 ppd)

Tyler McKay - 4.1 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, BB, 3 K, HR, WP, 5 GB, 2 FB
Kyle Glogoski - 4 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, HR, 2 GB, 4 FB (throwing error)
Jonathan Guzman - 0 for 3
Rafael Marchan - 2 for 3, R, 2B, K
Luis Garcia - 1 for 6, 2 R, 3B, RBI, BB, 2 K
Abraham Gutierrez - 2 for 6, R, 2B, RBI, BB, K, CS
Carlos De La Cruz - 2 for 6, RBI, 2 K, CS
Malvin Matos - 0 for 4, R, 2 BB, K
Ben Pelletier - 2 for 6, R, 2B, RBI, 2 K
Jake Holmes - 0 for 3, 2 K
Cole Stobbe - 1 for 3, RBI, 2 K

The Kyle Glogoski hype-train hit its bump, giving up (checks notes), a season-high two earned runs in eight appearances this season. He has 45 strikeouts to 8 walks in 27.2 innings. Abraham Gutierrez has multi-hit games in two of his last three games and Jonathan Guzman saw his five-game hitting streak come to an end.
