Game Thread 6/17: Phillies at Nationals

Moving along from that Braves series into four 7:05’ers with the Nationals, it’s the battle of the guys-who-should-probably-be-better in game one: Jake Arrieta vs. Patrick Corbin.

They’re saying the Nationals have never looked hotter in 2019, which is sort of a good thing, when you consider they’re 5-5 in their last ten games and still sit five games under .500. But there’s no team the Phillies shouldn’t consider a threat right now—here’s hoping Jake and the boys can use this series to get as hot as their pals from Atlanta.
