MLR: Bohm Sweet Bohm

It’s all about Bohm, again.

2018 Major League Baseball Draft

Rochester 13 - Lehigh Valley - 5

De Los Santos: 4 IP, 10 H, 9 R, 5 ER, 4 K, 3 HR
Haseley: 2 for 3, HR, K, BB
Williams: 1 for 3, BB
Listi: 1 for 2, K, 2 BB
Hernandez: 1 for 3, 2 K, BB, 2B

EDLS may have given up 4 unearned runs, but I’d have a hard time calling his outing bad luck. He got hit hard and often. It’s good to see Haseley back and performing well. Tom Windle also gave up 2 runs in this lest, just in case you forgot he exists.

Reading 5 - Trenton 3

Romero: 6 IP, 4 H, ER, 6 K, BB, WP
Singer: 1 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 2 K, HR
Moniak: 1 for 4, 2B, K
Bohm: 2 for 4, HR, K
Hall: 1 for 3, HR, BB, K
Randolph: 1 for 3, SB, BB, K
Gamboa: 0 for 3, SB, BB, K

A good JoJo start, plus Homers from Hall and Bohm made for a pretty fun game (which Singer decided to make extra exciting with a 2 run 9th to make it look closer than it was much of the game).

Clearwater 7 - Palm Beach 2

Seabold: 4 IP, 2 H, ER, HR, 5 K
Ortiz: 3 for 5, 3B, HR
Maton 2 for 4, BB
Vierling: 1 for 4, K
Muzziotti: 1 for 5
Brito: 3 for 3, BB

If Brito did this every game, he’d be quite the prospect. Also, one hell of a game for Jhailyn whose season isn’t great, but when he has a good game he doesn’t tend to make it debateable.

Williamsport 3 - Vermont 2

Made: 2 IP, 2 H, BB, 5 K
Williams: 2 for 3, 2B, 2 SB, BB
Torres: 2 for 4, CS
Holmes: 1 for 3, CS
Stewart: 2 for 4, 2B, K
O’Hoppe: 2 for 3, 2B
Markwardt: 0 for 2, BB, K
Gonzalez: 1 for 3, 2 K
