Louisville 7, Lehigh Valley 3 (August 13)
Jerad Eickhoff - 2.1 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, HBP, 1 GB, 2 FB
Cole Irvin - 4 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 3 K, HR, 6 GB, 2 FB
Nick Williams - 0 for 5, K
Deivy Grullon - 1 for 4, HR, BB, K
Austin Listi - 2 for 4, 2B, RBI, K
Not a good one for the rehabbing Jerad Eickhoff. In four rehab appearances across three levels he has gone: 8 IP, 8 H, 7 ER, 4 BB, 8 K, HR, 2 HBP. I’m not sure how likely he will be helping out the big club this season in any capacity. The offense was in-opportunistic, going 2 for 13 with RISP and leaving 13 on base. Deivy Grullon added his 16th HR of the season and is slashing .285/.354/.480 in 354 AAA at-bats.
Erie 10, Reading 5 (August 13)
Julian Garcia - 3.1 IP, 9 H, 7 R, 6 ER, BB, HR, 5 GB, 3 FB
Luke Williams - 3 for 5, R, 2B, SB (throwing error)
Mickey Moniak - 0 for 5
Alec Bohm - 0 for 1, 3 BB
Darick Hall - 0 for 4, 2 K
Josh Stephen - 0 for 3, BB, K
Cornelius Randolph - 1 for 3, R, BB, 2 K
Arquimedes Gamboa - 2 for 4, HR
This was Julian Garcia’s worst start of the season. It was just the second time all year he wasn’t able to get out of the 4th inning and the first in which he didn’t strike out a single batter. Luke Williams is currently riding a 12-game hitting streak, but more impressively since July 1 is slashing .314/.350/.529 with 5 HR and 8 SB in 165 plate appearances. Bohm’s 3-walk game was this 2nd of the season. Since being promoted to AA, he has 19 walks to 24 strikeouts in 170 at-bats. Not too bad.

Ethan Lindow gets promoted to High-A and was impressive in his Clearwater debut on Monday. The 20 year old lefty had 103 strikeouts to 20 walks in 94.2 innings with Lakewood. The offense went cold, with the lone bright spot coming with Ben Aklinski’s (2) two-run HR in Tuesday’s game.

Malvin Matos (9) and Ben Pelletier (9) provided dingers to lift the BlueClaws in Tuesday’s game. Abraham Gutierrez provided his 3rd HR in Monday’s game. Speaking of Matos, he’s been on a nice hot streak, hitting .429 with 4 HR in his last 10 games.

Bryson Stott is breaking out of his mini-slump and is firing on all cylinders again! He has multi-hit games in 6 of his last 8 games and is batting .409/.469/.727 in his last 12 games with 3 HR and 2 SB.
