Game Thread 9/1: Mets and Phillies

The Phillies have a lot on the line tonight.

Should they lose, they will fall into sole position of 4th place. They will fade further into the wild card abyss. And despite a slew of new faces on the 40-man roster thanks to the expansion of the rosters, the team will be without Jean Segura, who is in the Dominican Republic tending to the death of his grandmother.
