It’s back to trying to scrape some wins together against the Metropolitans.

They are further away than the cusp of a playoff spot, and tonight Gabe Kapler is starting Jose Pirela in left field. Get ready for an experimental weekend in Flushing as the Phillies try desperately to make something happen against the division rivals that they’ve beaten in 10 out of 16 meetings this season.
