Last night, the Phillies lost in the cluster-f***iest inning they’ve probably played this year, which ended in a walk-off walk for the Mets at Citi Field, after a pair of two-out singles, a hit batsman, and the aforementioned free pass, stirring the most recent debate about Gabe Kapler’s managing skills and the talent the Phillies have on hand in their bullpen.. The last thing anybody saw in regards to Phillies baseball was a shirtless Pete Alonso, celebrating with this teammates. Also, Bryce Harper was hit in the hand during the game and though he suffered only a contusion, he won’t be in the starting lineup tonight.
And so tonight, we do it again.
Our starting 9⃣ tonight. #RingTheBell
