- The team signed former Yankee (and Joe Girardi’s best friend) Ronald Torreyes to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. I think we just found the leader in the clubhouse for the 26th roster spot.
- One of the new coaches hired by the Phillies is a local product.
- More and more relievers that might have helped the Phillies are being signed elsewhere.
- Eno Sarris at The Athletic ($) looks at several bounce back candidates for 2020, including one from the former Phillies.
