It’s official. Dombrowski gets 4 years/$20 million.

The long national nightmare of the Phillies being a directionless, rudderless organization drifting through the offseason seems to be ending. According to reports, the team is close to making their decision.

This is a particularly interesting choice if it indeed does come to fruition. Dombrowski has a reputation of gutting farm systems in return for win-now additions. The Phillies don’t have many prospects right now, but the fanbase also wants a winner. Which way do you want it?

We’ll have more to come as this news breaks.
