It’s Christmas Eve. Whether you celebrate the holiday or not, we can all agree that there isn’t anything happening around the game until at least Monday. They’re probably even taking Boxing Day off.
Whatever you do, please make sure that you do it safely. We’re almost through this thing. Let’s just make sure we get over the finish line together.
On to the links.
Phillies news:
- The Mets have passed. The Astros look like they’re going to pass. That means that the eventual Realmuto-Phillies reunion is coming.
- An offer is on the table.
MLB news:
- The Tigers have signed a right-hander that the Phillies apparently tried to get for themselves.
- It looks like the Astros have found their catcher and it isn’t going to be J.T. Realmuto.
- The Red Sox have added an intriguing right-hander to their pitching rotation.
Rumor roundup:
- James Paxton has recently thrown in front of teams. Depending on how much it would take to sign him if he were to demand a major league deal, he’d be a very interesting bounceback candidate.
