Phillies Game Thread #4 and 5: split squad games

Our first day of split squad games are here. The Phillies are playing both in Bradenton against the Pirates, and in Clearwater against the Blue Jays. I love split squad games and have been a proponent that every game in the first few weeks should be split squad so more players get more at bats. That’s just me though.

You are probably most interested in the game in Clearwater since Bryce Harper and his gorgeous flowing locks are scheduled to make their debut. Jake Arrieta will be on the bump for that one. This one will be available on MLB TV. In Bradenton, Ranger Suarez will throw a few for the Phillies.
