We know what this game thread was supposed to be, but it’s not happening. No baseball is being played anywhere in real life. Instead, baseball players are playing each other using MLB The Show and broadcasting it on YouTube. It’s not baseball but guess what - it’ll have to do.
So here’s your game thread for the matchup involving the Phillies and Marlins. This was supposed to be the matchup we were getting on our TVs for Opening Day, but instead, we’ll watch two people sit and play a video game.
Rhys Hoskins will play Thursday against Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas in MLB The Show with a live-stream on YouTube at 4:10 p.m., the time of what would have been the first pitch of Opening Day.
