It’s almost time.
The 2020 season is finally almost upon us and with it will be the end of several storylines that have dominated the game. No more will we have the hear the drip, drip, drip of news leaking out of Houston and how they cheated not only a team, but an entire sport. No longer will we have to endure more “This is a great way to change the game!” ideas that fill the winter months whenever a writer needs to fill time. We’re just going to hear about baseball, Phillies baseball.
Whatever that is.
With that in mind, we’re going to start our 2020 preview here at The Good Phight. In the next few weeks, we’ll be looking at the time in two phases: offense and defense. We’re going to look back at how the team, specifically those who project to make the team, has done in spring training, as well as those fighting for that last roster spot. We’ll look at some of the important minor leaguers that project to make an impact, as well as those who might jump up and surprise us. We’re also going to give some of our bigger concerns about the team as they embark on this six (hopefully seven) month journey through the baseball landscape. Finally, we’ll all make our predictions about how we believe this season will turn out (ones that you will probably crush us for later on) This and much more will be gracing the virtual pages of our website.
So bookmark us, comment with us and discuss how this team will do. We’re ready to get started and we know you are too!
