So, as we begin to gear up for baseball to restart before they have to shut it all down again because COVID-19 isn’t going away, we waited to see who would head to Citizens Bank Park to be on the 60-man roster for spring training 2.0. Today was the deadline earlier we got some news when we found out two players that had been released from the team.
The #Phillies have released Drew Storen & Matt Szczur. Neither was on the 40-man roster. They'd signed minor-league deals before the first spring training.

60-man pool rules will cause a lot of this. A) Opt-out clauses. B) Players removed from 60-man pools can't be brought back.
Then, after an unusually long wait, we finally got some names.

We’ll take a longer look at the names tomorrow.
