Friends, gather ‘round and you shall hear
A tale of a game played far and near.
When once we were able to go
To see our teams fight high and low
Enough of that.
Tonight, the Phillies are in action against another team, the first time since....well last night. But this is the first game action by the Phillies against a different opponent in a very long time.
Tonight marks the first baseball action at Citizens Bank Park since September 29, 2019. That was 294 days ago.

This is a bummer in more than one way, but let’s just take solace in the fact that there is baseball tonight and all is right with the world.
Kind of.
Here are the lineups for tonight’s game. For the Phillies:

Zack Wheeler makes his semi-debut for the Phillies in Citizens Bank Park tonight against a lineup that he should dominate. Also expected to pitch for the Phillies tonight are Jose Alvarez, Reggie McClain, Victor Arano and Trevor Kelley.
They’re going up against the Orioles, who have set their lineup like this:

There isn’t much time left until the real thing is here, so let’s enjoy tonight and continue the countdown to the return of the first of the major sports - and hope it can continue past July.
