Gamethread 8/10: Braves at Phillies

Is a split too much to ask?

Yesterday was pretty bad. Not only did the Phillies lose the doubleheader, but Spencer Howard’s debut was a dud. They also lost some valuable ground in their race for the playoffs (yes, we can start scoreboard watching). So tonight, we have the two teams going at it again, with the Phillies hoping for a split. Here is the lineup they send out:

“Barrels” is leading off tonight, huh? Interesting.

For the Braves:

This is a game the Phillies really, really need to win.
