Gamethread 8/21: Phillies at Braves

....sigh.....

This isn’t an easy time right now.

There isn’t much to be happy with when it comes to the Phillies. Sure, Bryce Harper is easily in the MVP discussion right now, but from a losing team? Not going to happen.

J.T. Realmuto? Still the best catcher in baseball. Still not signed long-term.

Aaron Nola on the hill? As sure a bet in baseball as there currently is. But if he can’t go 6, 7, even 8 innings, can you be certain the team will emerge victorious?

These are the types of dread that makes being a Phillies fan so difficult right now. Sure, we’ll watch since we’re devoted, but you can’t make us like it.
