The Washington Nationals will make their first visit to Citizens Bank Park as they kick off a four-game series against the Phillies. The defending champs are a disappointing 12-19 which includes losses in both games between the teams last week.
Rookie righthander Spencer Howard will be looking for his first career win, after going 0-1 with a 6.17 ERA in three previous starts. He’ll be opposed by Erick Fedde who is 1-2 with a 3.57 ERA. The righty suffered a loss against the Phillies last week, giving up four runs in five innings.
