Is it possible for the season to begin with a little more urgency? If you’re living in the greater Philadelphia area, you know what story has been dominating the local sports scene. It has been attacked from numerous angles. Fans have seemingly gone through the stages of grief over it. The hot takes have been coming in fast and furious, making one turn the station in the car with a little more fervor.
So can baseball please get here?
I’d imagine right now that J.T. Realmuto’s injury would have been dissected from every conceivable angle by now, with some fretting for the season as a whole while others (correctly) pass it off with nary a worry. I just need to listen to something other than Carson Wentz.
