Bryce Harper spoke yesterday to the media. It’s pretty cool how well he has taken to Philadelphia. While you could make a point to say it is all practiced, rehearsed even, I’m not sure that it is. It seems like this is genuinely who Harper is, someone who likes to speak his mind on any given topic (signing J.T. Realmuto, how John Middleton should spend money, the effect of Dave Dombrowski, etc.) and here, he can do so.
On to the links.
Phillies news:
- The team has renamed their spring training home. Again.
- When it comes to the best division in baseball, Bryce Harper knows what up when he talked about it in his conversation with the media yesterday.

- People were polled about the five worst contracts handed out this offseason. J.T. Realmuto was ranked among the worst.
MLB news:
- MLB kept out Negro Leagues stars from playing on an equal playing field forever. Now, they are finally recognizing them for the stars they truly are.
- The title of this piece really says it all.
