The Phillies yesterday took another loss, struggling to score runs against Gerrit Cole and the Yankees. That’s not unusual because Cole was pumping near 100 on the gun his whole outing which is really hard to hit. Aaron Nola was average in his start, not knowing that the wind in Clearwater yesterday was akin to the same winds we remember from Hurricane Sandy. It happens, but there is still nothing to worry about.
We can just put the season to bed now and save ourselves the heartbreak of watching. See you in 2022!
