Covid is the worst. We all had to live through it this past year and it has impacted some more than others. MLB thought they could hold a season where, with stricter protocols in place, they could see a minimum number of games affected by the pandemic.

The Mets, who have not yet officially begun their 2021 campaign, come into Philadelphia tonight having had to wait to debut thanks to an outbreak among their opening week opponent, the Nationals. Their more than likely raring to go since they’ve had to sit on their hands the past few days waiting to see what would happen. Now they come to Philadelphia fully rested, their lineup ready and their pitching staff aligned.
For the Phillies, they’re coming off a weekend sweep of their rival the Braves, having handled them with strong starting pitching, timely hitting and a suddenly dependable bullpen. Here are the lineups.
