Today the Mets and Phillies continue their series where the division rivals keep playing their division heavy early schedule. It makes the importance of securing these early division victories so, so vital. While I’m not one to discount the importance of winning games late in September, it sure would make that month a lot easier if the Phillies keep getting these early season victories against their rivals.
