Though he can’t truly replace the production of anyone (outside of maybe Chase Anderson), Bailey Falter getting fully stretched out will be a good thing if any Phillies starter gets injured since Spencer Howard isn’t quite there yet. Archie Bradley with the rehab start and getting him back into the bullpen will be a huge boost for that group. Cornelius Randolph hit his first HR of the season in the top of the 9th to put LHV back ahead. Mickey Moniak’s struggles continue as he is just 3 for 20 in his first 6 games with the IronPigs this season.

Colton Eastman struggles again, but it didn’t matter much anyway because you aren’t going to win many games in which you only get 4 hits and strikeout 14 times at the plate. Sadly, there isn’t a whole lot of top talent on this team and Reading is going to be in for a VERY long season.

He is a former (2015) 2nd round pick from Baltimore who opted for college and was signed as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 draft. Josh Hendrickson is a 23 year old lefty in his second season in the org. There was not one single batter in the BlueClaws lineup with an average of .250.
