Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 5, Lehigh Valley 2
David Parkinson - 4 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 8K, 1 HR

Ryan Cordell - 2 for 4, fielding error
Austin Listi - 0 for 4, BB, 2 K
Luke Williams - 1 for 4, BB, 2 K
Lehigh Valley’s inability to muster up sufficient offense really hurt their chances to win this game. The IronPigs left 11 runners on base and had just one hit with runners in scoring position. Luke Williams, Mickey Moniak and Austin Listi each picked up a pair of strikeouts. Kyle Dohy’s struggles continue, he now has a 13.50 ERA in just 3.1 innings so far this season.

For the second night in a row, the Fightin Phils gave up 9 runs to an admittedly talented Baysox offense that features 2019 first overall draft pick Adley Rutschman. McCarthy Tatum and Matt Vierling each picked up a pair of doubles and Nick Matera hit his first home run of the season. Kyle Glogoski continues to struggle as he now has a 24.30 ERA in 3.1 IP.

Jersey Shore managed just two hits, both singles, in this game against Washington’s #3 prospect. No BlueClaw even made it past first base. Jersey Shore struck out 14 times, Bryson Stott and Chris Cornelius each with 3. The one positive from this game was that Adam Leverett’s changeup was on display as he struck out 6 in 3 no-hit innings.
Fort Myers 5, Clearwater 3
Rafael Marcano - 3.1 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 4 K
Starlyn Castillo - 3 IP, 0 H, 5 BB, 4 K

Johan Rojas - 2 for 5, RBI
Baron Radcliff - 1 for 3, RBI, BB, K
Carlos De La Cruz - 1 for 4, 2 K
Rixon Wingrove - 0 for 2, 2 BB, 2 K
Clearwater was the closest of the Phillies’ four teams to a win, but two relievers (Burch and Woodward) combined to give up four runs in the bottom of the 8th for the loss. Baron Radcliff picked up his first professional hit that wasn’t a home run. Starlyn Castillo is off to a decent start on the season, despite walking five in this game. He has only given up two hits in 6 innings pitched and has struck out 8.
