Phils look to get back to .500. Again.

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The Phillies’ goal tonight is to win, of course, but that would accomplish a few other things:

  • win first series since April 16-18 when the Cards came to town
  • avoid falling two games below .500 for the first time this season (currently 13-14)
  • get back to .500 for the 9th time (!) already

They’ve been...

6-6
7-7
8-8
9-9
10-10
11-11
12-12
13-13

For a lot of reasons, it would be great to keep that streak going tonight, and in a nationally televised game, at that.
