With an offense that is suddenly coming alive (for spurts at a time) and some starting pitching sprinkled in, the Phillies find themselves on the cusp of sweeping a four-game series from the NL Central leading Milwaukee Brewers. Having the Brewers go absolutely stone cold with runners in scoring position during the series has helped, but those at bats had to come against someone and so far, the pitching for the Phillies has bent, not broken.
Of course, with a beautiful day on tap in the Philadelphia area, it would also be nice if people taking in the game, either at the stadium or at home, could watch the game without use of an AED device close at hand. Playing this many one run games in a row is not exactly good for the health and well being of the fanbase, though local cardiologists are probably privately quite excited.
You’re here for the lineups, so here they are. For the Phillies:

Zack Wheeler takes the mound for the Phillies. His last start Saturday against the Mets started off poorly, allowing four runs in the first inning, but he settled down nicely after that and gave the team six innings of work, keeping them close enough to eventually tie it.
For the Brewers:

Brandon Woodruff is on the bump, yet another starter for Milwaukee coming into the game with a sparkling ERA and peripherals to back it up.
Let’s talk about it!
