It’s a new day, friends.

After the miserable weather here in Philadelphia over the weekend, the sun is shining and spirits are high that a new month will mean new results for the Phillies.

After all, how much worse can it get!

The Phillies and Reds lock up tonight in another battle between underachieving teams. Both of them will send their #1 pitchers to the mound, both in need of trying to put together a full, effective start. Here are the lineups. For the Phillies:

We all need to get behind the ace tonight. Aaron Nola is in serious need of a good start after orchestrating several subpar outings lately. He’ll have the new “regular” lineup behind him.

For the Reds:

Remember yesterday when the Reds put up 11 on the Phillies? Today they’ll add their best hitter this year to that same lineup.

Cool!

Let’s talk about it why not.
