After two days off, the Phillies return home to take on their division rival Washington Nationals for the first game of a three-game set. Friday’s game will feature what should be an excellent starting pitching matchup as Zack Wheeler will be opposed by Max Scherzer.
The last time the Phillies took the field, they scored 17 runs. It’s doubtful that they’ll match that output again, but it would be nice if they didn’t get completely shut down by Scherzer.
