The Phillies will take on the non-infected members of the Washington Nationals in a doubleheader

After Wednesday’s game between the Phillies and Nationals was postponed due to a COVID outbreak on the Nationals, the teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon, with game one scheduled to start at 12:05 PM.

Zack Wheeler, who had been scheduled for Wednesday’s start will get the ball in the opener.

With so many of their players sidelined, the Nationals will have a different looking lineup than usual. However, a familiar face will be on the pitching mound as Max Scherzer will start game one. (Perhaps his final start as a National?)
