The Phillies will face the Cubs for the first time this season and the first time since 2019. They take on a struggling Cubs team that has lost 9 straight games, worse than even the Phillies! Of course the Cubs haven’t met the Phillies’ bullpen just yet, so anything is possible.

Fresh off an All-Star game announcement, J.T. Realmuto gets the night off so that Andrew Knapp can be rewarded for his sterling relief performance from yesterday. Matt Moore makes a start, so we better make sure that Andrew McCutchen is in left field.

Graphic design is their passion.
Still weird to see a catcher leading off for any lineup, but Contreras makes it work. Future Phillies utility player Kris Bryant is having a solid season in 2021. He’s in right field tonight. Kyle Davies is on the mound for Chicago.
Let’s talk about it.
